The dogs owner should be thrown in prison.

He obviously trained that dog to be violent or something because pitbulls are a very loyal and loving breed. The only reason they have a bad rep is because of their popularity with questionable owners and this guy is just part of that problem.
I feel bad for the dog who probably thought he was doing the right thing and the kid only acted in self-defense.

I just wanted to give some praise to the kid.Not many people try to fight a pitbull and survive.This kid struggled with a raging cannibal for 15 minutes.10 minutes on sea,5 minutes under the sea while half of his face is bitten and in blood.According to the eye witnesses the kid get out of the sea but he jumped again to kill the pitbull after he saw what happened to his face.

This is kind of a 'badass' story and pitbull ownership.

This is more important,because of the West's fascination with "cute" animals giving away millions to every company who throws a commercial of a sad puppy and some piano music on the air,but ignoring the countless instances of preventable violence,starvation,and destruction within Third World. The fact that I don't like dogs and I really only like certain animals(Cats,horses,those cute little mice and ferrets at PetSmart.) means I don't really care about this.
