Default Create Realistic Texture Illumunation and Shading in Photoshop

I discovered that 3-4 days ago and now I want to tell this technique to you

First create a pattern whatever you want(or find from web).

After, duplicate that and take it to as group and use this like a bump map(White is high, black is low in 3D). Then make your edits whatever you want. I want to make it similar to a wooden wall and created some black (hole) lines.

    Noise for roughness...

And also you should reduce amount of constract else it will be so rough.

Then go to channels menu and create a channel.

Copy the Bumb Map (In rgb Ctr+A then Ctrl+Shift+C) and paste(Ctrl+V) it to Alpha.

Now, go back to orginal texture.

From menu, select "Filter>Render>Lightning Effects" and set your materials' and lights' properties. (For creting light drag the bulp icon into picture.) and set your texture channel to alpha.

    And Final:

Did you use vector lines to make those black lines to separate the wooden slats?

    Wow it looks very usefull

If you try with a real wood texture desaturated to b/w to create bump map, and use this bump map on the same flat texture with clipping mask/fusion opiton i think the result will be more realistic and amazing!

Very good method anyway, il will try for sure!

Yes vector, only 0,0,0. And I've used a little outer glow with black.
