This is a musket sound mod. I have taken and recorded musket sounds from a Brown Bess. Many people say that their sound mods are taken from real muskets. But I don't think that is always true. I haven't tweaked them at all from the original sounds except to amplify them. Also, the musket sounds don't come to an abrupt end after they are shot. They have a sort of ring left behind as the sound goes off into the distance. So your battles don't have dull silent pauses. This patch works in both Empire and Napoleon! Just extract to empire/data

I have modified the sounds a little. I added and subtracted some. Not a big change. But I think it sounds a little better. So just re-download it.

edit: Just had a wonderful small battle with these sounds as the Austrian against the Turk...totally ambient. I am overjoyed. BRAVO!!!

I mean, what is different from the original sounds? I can tell there is more base and possibly some reverb. Did you do cannons as well?

I deleted and added some musket sounds. But I didn't change it much. I'm working on one for cannons. Also, how can I edit my thread. I want to add my video above the download link.
