ow thats very easy, just go to the export_descr_unit file if you know what/where that is than you open it and press ctrl+H than you type in the surch:
stat_cost 1
than you replace it by
stat_cost 0

Re: How to start 0 turn Rome?
I should go in Play Rome one turn data folder right? But the file doesnt contain stat_cost 1. It has stuff like that stat_cost 2, 3271, 987, 492, 657, 409.

Re: How to start 0 turn Rome?
yes yes I know but look if you have this: stat_cost 2, 3271, 987, 492, 657, 409. then this: stat_cost 2<is the time to recruit the units so if you have stat_cost 2 it takes 2 turns to make, stat_cost 1 = 1 turn to make stat_cost 0 = a 0 turn recruitment
and the rest stat_cost 2 < 3271, 987, 492, 657, 409> is for the money to make them/ upkeep costs etc, so if you only change this
stat_cost 2
to this
stat_cost 0
you only change the recruitment time, so the price to make and upkeep etc stays the way it is
SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH,,,,,,,, DUTCH!

Re: How to start 0 turn Rome?
so first you go to this path, (IF YOU PLAY THE ROME CAMPAIGN!)
C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\Play_Rome\data
there you have the file export_descr_unit. open it
and change it this way:
type roman cretan archer
dictionary roman_cretan_archer
category infantry
class missile
voice_type Light_1
soldier cretan_archer, 30, 0, 0.692
officer roman_centurion
officer roman_signifier
attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, can_sap, very_hardy
formation 1.6, 2, 3.2, 4, 3, square
stat_health 1, 0
stat_pri 8, 4, pointed_stick2, 160, 30, missile, archery, piercing, none, 25, 1
stat_pri_attr no
stat_sec 7, 4, no, 0, 0, melee, blade, piercing, sword, 25, 2.2
stat_sec_attr no
stat_pri_armour 8, 7, 0, metal
stat_sec_armour 0, 1, flesh
stat_heat 2
stat_ground 1, 0, 0, 0
stat_mental 8, disciplined, highly_trained
stat_charge_dist 200
stat_fire_delay 0
stat_food 60, 300
stat_cost 1, 640, 224, 97, 131, 80
ownership romans_brutii, thrace
now change this:
stat_cost 1, 640, 224, 97, 131, 80
to this:
stat_cost 0, 640, 224, 97, 131, 80
and if you have this:
stat_cost 2, 640, 224, 97, 131, 80
to this:
stat_cost 0, 640, 224, 97, 131, 80
if you want it quicker you type: ctrl+H
search to: stat_cost 1
replace by: stat_cost 0

Re: How to start 0 turn Rome?
I didnt know I needed 1.50 patch. Its all alright now. Though... my stacks are with 121 soldiers in a cohort and all the screenshots I see are with 202 soldiers. Cavalry is only 61 etc.
