Thanks! By the way if anyone has M2TW water/sea textures for the campaign map, could you send them to me so I can implement them? Thanks.

Oh okay awesome, would you be able to post the M2TW file of it? Also, what text file do you edit to fully implement it?

this is a water texture that is compatible with m2 tw kingdoms, i know little of rome's file, so i cant be confident it will work for rome as is and in a similar folder.

    + rep for me, yes?

Looks like you got what you needed, cool. When will there be a beta or something for the mod?

Well, problem is I implemented the file but the vanilla sea texture still comes up. I am going through the text files but I can't find where I need to make the text change. Anyone know?

And I will have a preview up today of progress once I finalize everything but I still have 8-9 faction rosters to complete and I need to implement the AOR system as well as some other small things. Hopefully soon, but it depends on how fast I do everything

It's not that it's the wrong file or anything, it's the fact that I don't know which text file to edit

Ahowl11, you need to include this folder (in red):

    data/terrain/aerial_map/sea

And don't forget to pack the new files (mod_0, for example) if your mod is modfolder, to the changes works fine .

    Regards.

I have included the 'sea' folder. It still doesn't show. There has to be a text file that needs to be edited somewhere

Nope, you only need to pack the files .

I've never packed files before, which ones do I need to pack and how do I pack them?

You must use this tools (sorry i haven't the links):

    -Fileparser
    -xpak extractor

And the steps to pack the files are:

1-Into your modfolder you need to include a new folder (packs), put into it the above tools.
2-Run fileparser, it's a very intuitive tool. You must make a new pak file, you may rename it mod_0 (for example).
3-Browse (select files button) with this tool the files that you want to pack (you can put them into the new packs folder to a easy search of them).
4-Finally press the "create files" button.
5-Now you have new files in your pack folder, run the mod_0 (if you rename it mod_0 ) bat file and wait untill it finish to pack the files.
6-A new pak file is now in your folder, that's the file that the game read now .

Files that need to be packed (that i know):

    -Skies
    -Sea
-Aerial map's elements as boats, wagons, bridges...
    -Building's textures
    -Menu cursors

I'll hope this help you, if not...tell me, please-

    All the best .
