alright i want to start making my own units or retexturing ones that are already there but i dont know wat to us if someone could leave a link to something or tell me that be greatly helpful to me

Since I don't know too much about modding Shogun 2 myself, I'll just point you in the right direction.

First up is the big index of modding tutorials, compiled by Ishan. It can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=443435.

That should cover quite a bit of stuff, as it has both tutorials and links to the tools and programs that you need.

Second, you can also use the Tools, Tutorials and Resources part of the forum. While most tutorials are put into the index above, you can probably find some misc. ones that aren't.
