To start I will say I would cry...

Call Of Duty is ALL OVER THE PLACE and it isn't even that amazing compared with other games, but it is a highly popular series of games.

Suddenly and spontaneously ... That sounds like a hastily made, not well tested, buggy game with an already unimaginative and exploited content (by others exploited, that is). I wouldn´t buy it.

But then, I didn´t buy any game newer than MTW2. I simply don´t like gunpowder in Total War games, I always finished MTW2 before it was invented.

Me and all my 12 year old pals would get our respective Mothers to buy it for us, then have a rip roaring good time pwning n00bs and calling everyone various homophobic slurs. As I believe is the custom with CoD.

Actually, if it was well made, I would buy it.

There's nothing wrong with CoD (Well, it's a little repetitive) besides the community, if one could call it that. I only play those games in Singleplayer, and I only play TW in Singleplayer.

I mean I may be a wierdo but it melts my head; like REALLY? Call of Duty: Total War. Don't think so =P

Anyways back on track: Popular vote at the moment is for a 2nd Rome game (or near equivalent); odds are that CA will cater to the market. Only logical alternative at present I could see would be another late Imperialist era game (due to the gun/ship mechanics with Warscape); however CA promised they would implement a new engine for the next release, so unless they go back on their word and copy/paste the current engine the odds are it will be back to the good old sword and shield

Eh? I don't understand. Are you putting forward the hypothetical situation of CA combining Total War with a shooter, OR are you referring to Total War going WW2?
the first obviously is a disaster, the second would be interesting.
And why Call of Duty? Why not New World Order - Total War? (Referring to the revolutionary tendencies of both communism and fascism/nazism)
