You will see posters all around King's Landing about oncoming Tournament. It says: "If you want to attend the Tournament, go see the Steward about participating."
OOC: Just drop your name here.
Logan Redwyne and his two sons.
Sers Rolland Serry & Talbert Chester.
OOC: If enough people sign up, I can start randomly assigning pairs for the first tilts of the tourney. We'll probably go for a round structure with an opening round, second round, quarter- & semi-finals, and of course the final joust. Dunno about the melee & archery contest if we choose to have 'em though, maybe the same structure as well?

You can post a starting RP post (ex. 'The Boss Man rode into the arena, his black armor gleaming in the sun...'), I'll roll for victories/defeats, and then you can RP the outcome (ex. 'The Butt Monkey staggered to his feet, feeling his chest burn after being struck down by his opponent's keen lance...')Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
OOC: I will get Sigmund ready then
Sigmund heads to his tent and prepares for the coming joust with Logan Redwyne. It was time to prove his worth, just as his father did many years ago. Sigmund's servants help arm and cloth the Lord of Summerhall. After some time, Sigmund comes out and mounts his horse, heading to the field on the side of the Mystweald family. He wore his steel gray armor that was a smaller replica of his father's armor with a cap that resembled the his family's crest.

"Helmet?" "Check." Ser Rolland pointed to his armet and pulled its visor over his face.
"Gorget?" "Check." Now he pointed to the heavy metal band around his neck.
"Plates secure?" "Check." The knight gestured at the bands holding his heavy plate armor securely around his form, most of them covered up by the surcoat he was wearing - its front half Serry red and decorated with white roses, and the back half white and adorned with red seven-pointed stars.
"Plate strong enough?" "Check." Rolland banged a fist against his armored chest.
"Codpiece?" Behind his visor, Ser Rolland rolled his eyes at his servant. "Check, obviously. Even though I won't need it until the melee. Why would you ask that, anyway?"
The servant laughed. "Just making sure. You're all set, Ser Rolland!"
His routine equipment check done, Rolland Serry rode out atop his courser Prayer, the horse's white hair and black skin alike mostly hidden under a red-and-white Serry caparison, to face his first opponent, carrying a painted red-and-white tourney lance in his right hand, and a red shield with the Serry white rose in his left. In his head, he began praying to the Warrior for success. Warrior, grant me the courage to face my opponent in full, and guide every thrust of my lance...
----------------------------------------
Talbert Chester rode out, head held high and proud, clad in his shiny new suit of full plate covered in a red-and-green surcoat peppered with the golden hands of House Chester. He had made the quite deliberate decision to leave his visor up, allowing the maids in the crowd to see his face, though he had wisely decided not to smile openly and so show them his atrocious teeth. Beneath him, his mare Silky neighed and trotted at a comfortable pace, garbed in a caparison matching the coloration of Chester's own surcoat.
OOC: Any of them you choose, or indeed all 4.
Tobran rode onto the field, surprisingly wearing only leathers and carrying a light spear - it seems that he is so uncomfortable in proper knightly garb, he would rather wear foresting clothes!
Fendrel rides onto the field as well, wearing his hideous black armour and red cloak. He, like Tobran, wears no helm, for his face is so grotesque it strikes fear into men's hearts.
Rolland Serry VS Tobran Mystweald:Talbert Chester VS Fendrel Mystweald:Spoiler Alert, click show to read:OOC: Just to move things along. I'll post your results when both you & your opponent have posted a starting RP post, or if one of you takes too long to do so. The second round won't start until the first one finishes, so don't worry about getting left behind.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Oh, and please tell me if you have any Tourney Knight points. As you can see, they'll be added to your rolls.
Tobran, as expected, fared miserably in the tourney. Thoroughly beaten, he only stayed at the Tourney for the archery competition, where he was sure to make a splash.
Fendrel happily drove the point of his lance into Chester's gut, laughing maniacally as he did. He rather enjoyed watching others in pain...
Letholdus, the veteran tourney knight, strode onto the field and mounted his horse. His purposely-dulled grey armour shone with a dull sheen.
Finally, Merek rode onto the field cheered from the stands by his father and sisters. He was one of the favourites at this tourney, and looked positively dashing with his blonde hair, blue eyes, and blue/gold armour with the Oak Leaf heraldry of Mistwood's nobility - truly a sight to behold!
Ser Balian Lycan arrived sporting his Valyrian Sword, Wolfs Claw, and a grin plastered on his face. He was ready to fight...
Edit- +1 Jouster, +1 Tourney Knight.
Balian pulled himself up onto his horse and wheeled it towards his end of the lists, the lance felt heavy in his hands but he kept the point steady. Soon he was in place at his end, to his left were the crowd, shouting in anticipation, behind him were his brothers offering him support and in front of him, the one thing that took his entire attention from all other things, it was his opponent. He pulled down his visor and prepared for the charge...
The Joust passed in a blur finishing almost as soon as it had started. He barely noticed it's passing all he could recall afterwards were the cheers of the crowd as he finally dismounted his opponent, driving the Knight to the ground, he could hardly believe it, yet he knew it was soon to get harder, this was only the first round...
The Greyjoys, under a heavily armed guard, arrive. At the front is Lord Theon, the archer of the family. Following, Lady Asha, who rather surprisingly is the Jouster of the family, and then Lord Victarian, who would be best in the melee. They would all compete in all events though, in case one's talents failed.
OOC: Theon has 2 Archer Traits, Asha has 1 Tourney Knight and 1 Archer. Victarian doesn't have any.
2nd OOC: I'm assuming that there are going to be no captures at this tournament, everything will be peaceful etc... if not, consider their arrival null and I'll post some different people arriving.
