Got it yesterday, started playing today. I'm loving every second, the world feels so fleshed out. Pretty fun so far .

It looks like an Assassin's Creed/Bioshock mix.

I have it but haven't installed it yet. I think it might be a early next year game after I breeze through the rest of the holiday seasons offerings, while waiting for GTA 5.

Looks cool, although there isn't much info. Not sure if I want to put 15 € extra on the game though

I played it. Was expecting many great things.

Was utterly disappointed. It seemed so... bland.

The video or the game? If the game then go into detail about why you think it was bland.

Hey, there is a live Developer question and answer on Raptr right now!

    http://raptr.com/Harvey1966/news/509...q-a-dishonored

    I posted a question and got a response .

My question "As I understand, Dishonored was influenced by games such as Bioshock and Thief. Do you like how people are comparing Dishonored to those, are do you want to escape the stigma of those and want Dishonored to be judged based upon it's own merits?"

Hervey's response "We're okay with various reactions to the game; once we released it, it became something out in the world that people can react to. Raf and I (and Arkane) have been working on this type of game for a long time, prior to Bioshock (a game we do love). It's more that we're making a game in the same family of games. Everyone at Arkane loves these FPS+RPG+Stealth games. In the past, Raf and Arkane worked on Dark Messiah and Arx Fatalis. I helped create the Deus Ex series, with a few others from the Dishonored team. Some of our guys worked on Bioshock 2. So it's not insulting for people to recognize the similarity in titles. Before you make something new (a new IP), people refer to it as X mixed with Y. Afterward, when someone else is making a new IP, someone will enviably explain it to others as "sort of like Dishonored mixed with something else."

Looks good, like the mate state above, the theme isn't the best, but well, it still looks interesting, I'm not much into scifi future thingy.

This game had me at "slice his throat with a rusty clever."
As a teenager, I was taken to various houses and flats above takeaways in the north of England, to be beaten, tortured and raped over 100 times. I was called a “white slag” and “white ****” as they beat me.

Got it a few days ago and already completed it once. Went for a fairly stealthy approach so ended at low chaos. Gonna try again with high chaos, felt like I missed alot not killing things, the combat and powers are fun for that.

Anyone tried the DLC? It looks fun, should be out on Wednesday for EU PS3, so I'll be getting it then.

Bit disappointed with it, there were only like five missions or so and the story was certainly lacking.

Played it, found it quite difficult (wanted to go through it without killing people). Then, began a second playthrough with a more direct and violent approach.. and barely got through the first proper mission. It has no replay value to speak of, which is totally disappointing as I was quite enthusiastic about the game. I went back to playing STALKER series, RTW and Skyrim.

It was short, and the story did look like it had alot more to give, it needed fleshed out more though, more length could have sorted that.

The world does seem interesting though.

I've actually found its quite different playing it by killing everything, different ways to kill people are good, so im still enjoying it.

That video made the game look really freaking awesome.... but mind you biooshock looked awesome in videos too so i don't think i'll be jamming this unless its really cheap.
