LFC are linked to a bunch of players. I'll try to account for most of them.
    • Rasmus Elm, from AZ Alkmaar.
    • Gaston Ramirez, from Bologna.
    • Moussa Sissoko, from Tolouse.
    • Gylfi Sigurdsson, from Swansea.
    • Nolito, from Benfica.
    • Luc Castaignos (loan I suppose), from Inter.
    • Roberto Soldado, Valencia.
    • Fernando Llorente, Atlethic Bilbao.
    • David Texeira, FC Twente.
    • Moussa Dembele, Fulham.
    • Victor Moses, Wigan.
    • Jackson Martinez, Jaguares.

Only midfielders and attackers. Typical press .

I hope we bring in Sigurdsson and Sissoko. I have not watched Sissoko much, but the impression I am getting is that he is a big, strong and smart defensive workhorse. We need that, because Jay Spearing has proven he just does not cut it. I also believe we might have a chance at them, so long as no bigger clubs become involved.

I would not like Moussa Dembele. He could very well be a perfect match for us, since he's kind of a fox in the box kind of offensive midfielder. But something about him just does not tickle me.

I'd like Victor Moses. He's got 1 year left of his contract. If he's leaving this summer then I would be very pleased if it was for us. I remember we competed with Wigan for him initially when he left his first club. He certainly made the right choice Since Dirk Kuyt and Maxi Rodriguez look likely to leave we will need new wingers. Dirk has apparently got a clause in his contract saying he can leave for 1mŁ if the buyer is foreign. 1mŁ for a Dutch international, makes perfect sense!

Rasmus Elm, Texeira and Nolito are players I had barely heard of before the January window. Nolito is an entirely new name. Exciting. Reports say we've sealed 8m€ for Elm.

I don't know a lot about Gaston Ramirez either, but the prices we're linked with suggests he is ridicolously good, I mean Andy Caroll good at least . Ca. 20m€. He's a winger, right? I know he's uruguayan so he's probably extraordinarily good.

Of the strikers (Martinez, Texeira (?), Nolito (?), Soldado and Llorente) Llorente is the one I'd most like to get. But I would also like Messi. I don't see many reasons for him to move to Liverpool, likewise Soldado. In that sense, I think we should look elsewhere, unless those I don't know prove to be brilliant players.

What I don't want is something like last year. We bought too many players. I think 4-5 is an absolute maximum of what we should bring in this year. A winger, 2 or 1 midfielders and a striker, and a left-back. Enrique needs competition, Robbo needs a loan. The midfielders depend on what happens with Alberto Aquilani. I believe he can do a good job at us.

    David Texeira, FC Twente
He's from FC Groningen. Our strikers are De Jong and Plet.

About Kuyt, he's probably going to Feyenoord, if he is willing to earn a couple of millions less...

If the germans are paying for your bank, and the bank is paying you, you better spend all that money, even on crap players.

I think the PL is just up his alley and Arsenal is a team that will suit him(unlike Mertesacker who is just to slow with all that space behind the defensive line - a transfer I really dont get from the start). He has the speed, wit, and strength necessary. Only need to worry about his mental state. Hes a real mommy's boy that likes his surroundings, and needs to feel comfortable to perform, but at this stage I think hes grown up enough and wants to win things.

Rasmus Elm is an intelligent midfielder with a terrific right foot. Essentially he is a more talented version of Charlie Adam and three years younger. He concede fewer fouls and got a hit percent of almost 50 % when it comes to shooting.

Thank you! How quick is he? His feet, his mind. I mean - Charlie Adam has the turning time of an old Battleship, which is quite problematic.

I've heard lots of good things about him, but then again I could say the same for each and every of our signings last summer.

Elm scored 3 corner kicks directly this season I think, great right foot indeed.

All I know is that I underrated him for a long time and thought of him as a Kim Källström type of player (great passer who destroy weak teams from a Xabi Alonso position but who is horribly exposed against hard pressing teams). But in his last few national team games he seem to be quicker than Källström (whom currently I currently rate as better than Adam). He doesn't have the pace of Sebastian Larsson but his positioning in the midfield is very good so I think he can do a good job on the Liverpool midfield as long as they don't start playing a tick tack kind of passing game.

Gladbach apparently want Claudio Pizarro from Werder Bremen.

Could be interesting for both parties. Pizarro certainly has something to offer while Gladbach need some experienced striker.

Apparently Vermaelen is also connected with Real Madrid, so the rumour about Witsel seems to be true, we know that Mourinho likes those partnerships with the same nationality, (like Özil and Khedira - Altintop and Sahin).

Witsel is Benfica good, but nowhere near Real Madrid good. He's a nasty leg breaker with an afro hair.
What makes a real American? A cowboy hat? Enjoying a fine T-bone
steak? Going to a baseball game? Shooting a gun? Maybe it’s the freedom to go
into a poor country and tell them how to do things?! Heh! Those are all great
qualities! But one thing that makes a true patriot is the ability to choose
an American car! When you buy an import you take a hot meal off a hard
working American’s table. There, there! This poor girl is going
to starve to death, just because you bought a cheaper, more efficient
Maibazu. Without gross symbols of excess, what will Americans have to look up
to? Our great industries is a threaten! Cars, pornography, armaments! And
they need your help! So the next time you buy a car, a piece of adult
literature or a missile defense system! Make sure you do the American thing!
