Hacker/terrorist connection?

I've been wrongly associated with "Nachash" and hackers, and (alleged) forensic security researchers have contacted me claiming that the hacking groups in question are feeding information to jihadists.

TWCenter is listed as one of my profiles, which I guess is true but what the heck?

Do you guys know anything about this?

Sounds like a phising expedition to me. Let me guess they were asking for personal information that must give them to avoid being prosecuted or other such BS.

No personal information was requested of me. I initially ignored the researchers precisely because it seemed...phishy. However, no such phishing questions have been asked nor such links provided. Both of the researchers seem legit, though I've obviously not given them more personal information than they already have.

The insinuation is that either I'm in a hacking group (I'm not) or I pissed someone off. Since TWCenter was listed as a profile and all the other profiles listed are inconsequential, this was the logical place to come. I know I've pissed people off here before, but I haven't posted here since 2009 which makes this bizarre.

That domain is hosted by DreamHost. I suggest you contact them and demand that your personal information be removed and that they contact whoever owns that site and check it out. I removed the link from your original post as it contains some of your personal info.

Honestly, if I were you and I were contacted by something like that, I'd contact the authorities. Both to check the legitimacy of said researchers and, if needed, to seek help in disconnecting those so called links.

Rightly said, actually.

For one, never divulge information when someone tries the authorities voodoo, unless you can see their credentials. The best thing to do is to contact your nearest police station and file a report.
