    My mods
-Mod Leader for the Wheel Of Time This is not the beginning, but it is a beginning
-Mod Leader for Shogun 2: Foreign Invasion if you want a mod with alot of units this is for you, not only is there the 40 units CA made theres planned to be atleast 177 NEW units when its done.
-Modder in the World War I and Shogun II project. The only full scale mod for FOTS and it plays nothing like FOTS. FOTS may have Gatling guns, WW1&S2 has tekidanto samurai, SNLF, MGs, kisho snipers, assault infantry(shotguns) just to name a few.

Just a question, i thought about this but wouldn't it be possible to put in Historical Battles like important battles within the Battle of the Somme, Passchendaele, Gallipoli, Tannenberg and such, it would be nice if you guys could do something like that after 5.0 .

    So a couple of things.

Firstly, do we have a rough estimate of the size the download is going to be for 5.0? What about the mod once it's installed?

Secondly. I'm working on a Great War texture pack for Minecraft with mods to make everything a little more authentic . Guns, Machine Guns, Barbed Wire, Trench Pieces, mines, artillery pieces, maybe Flan will let me borrow his planes, and uniforms. You can expect it all . Hopefully...

It's ambitious, and I'd love help with it .

The Trench: 1916 Alpha is releasing on August 24th 2013!

    Really?

Do you have complete 5.0 lying around then, I'd love to see it.

It seems uncover all of these conspiracies stemming from those close to this mod. B-Dizl is MacLeod and is Immortal, along with being a Prince of the Universe (The rep keeps him alive). And now Brewster is hiding a finished copy of 5.0! This is madness!

The Trench: 1916 Alpha is releasing on August 24th 2013!

Quick look around yields 770mb at the very least, and I'm missing some of the latest textures/artillery files and all of the maps. Most of this space taken is new content, i.e. not replacing anything, so if we add 4.5 and 4.6 we have a total of around 1550mb. It's most likely going to be somewhere between 1 and 1.8 gb (with about 50% compression for the dl, as tested with 4.5). Not very specific, granted, but that's my best guess atm.

Link us that texture pack when it's done Uniforms especially would be cool. Also consider starting up a thread in the mods section of the twc minecraft forum, its rather empty last time I checked.

Yay! I can't wait until 5.0. Just 1 more week until exams are over and I can put 100% effort.

I dont see the progress thread getting updated, so can you tell me what new things have been finished and whats left to be finish.

AND is it just me or are the battles a bit too fast paced? they take me usually 5-10 minutes to win a battle between 2 full stack armies, maybe decreasing accuracy or damage might help, and making artillery less in number from 12-4 and not using INFINITE AMMUNITION !!!

Infinite ammunition is hardcoded, but reduced accuracy is definitely something we have been working.

    Are there going to be
Tanks, Real WWI ships, WWI arty, some units with helmets (no hats) in version 5.0?
Also the flamethrower unit doesn't do anything, they just die :/

    Tanks, artillery, and helmets, yes.

Ships, unfortunately, will not make an appearance.

I'd like to see increased distances (maybe 1.5x) for the rifles but decreased accuracy. That'd probably be more true to WW1 engagements, although I kind of like the current ridiculous bloodbaths too lol. The rate of fire would easily make up for decreases in accuracy.

Just for Lols somebody should edit the fire rate of infantry to 2 times higher but give them 0 accuracy and then make a video and post here. What that would do is make them fire retartedly fast but they wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn.

Give them an accuracy of one and increase the rate of fire and see how long it takes to kill a patriotic levy on ultra , that would be more fun than racing turtles!

Patriotic levy needs a theme song to go with them.
