Thanks. What's that just forward of the trigger guard? Something to do with breech-loading?

Darkhorse, post something!
This one should keep you all going for a while.
No.76 Special Incendiary Grenade perhaps?
I consider 22 minutes to be a while.
I don't.
The No.76 Special Incendiary Grenade was an improvished British weapon. It was issued toDad's army..the Home Guard and could be fired by the Northover Projector or thrown like a hand grenade. After the Dunkirk evacuation the British military was short of equipment. As a result the home guard was issued with obsolete weapons or improvised cheap weapons that didn't use materials that were needed for the regular army's equipment.
New picture.
Love those things (the vehicle and the No.76)
Had you seen the No.76 before?
No, but I've seen other improvised weapons for the home guard. Somebody, I think it was you, posted the Smith Gun in Ye Olde Thread a few years ago. And I know you're fond of British equipment.
Improvised British weapons from WW-II like the Smith Gun, the No. 76 grenade, the Blacker Bombard, the Armadillo AFV and the Bison concrete armoured lorry may seem resourceful but it's a good thing that they were never used in combat. Especially the No. 76 sounds like a dangerous piece of equipment (WP in a glass bottle!).
Well remembered, I did indeed post the Smith Gun all that time ago. - Repped
HINT: German WW-II half-track.
I thought Darkhorse already got it.
Schwerer Wehrmachtsschlepper?

Schwerer Wehrmachtschlepper is correct. This one is in Liberty Park, Overloon, The Netherlands.
Darkhorse knew what it was, but didn't say it.
Thank you He forgot to post the answer?
Here's an easy one anyway ... it's just so fantastic I thought it deserved posting.
(Hint; Didn't get any further than the drawing board!)
