Anyway there were I think several types that all look the same (to me), so I fully expect my answer to be trumped by somebody with more knowledge...
(Edit; found a list of technical differences in the Mark 1 to 5, concerned mostly with the carriage, but I'm still none the wiser.)

Best to look at photos of museum pieces, or maybe try to find some gunners memoirs, they may have noted the difference in mark.
