OK, think I need a bit of prompt on this, just to make sure I'm not off down the wrong track. Is this a submachine gun or not.

I feel it's somewhere between a HK SL6 and an M1 Johnson 'Spitfire' carbine - I can't pin it down atm, but lean more towards the Heckler & Koch.
