Great pic. That looks like a forward scout's gear, if I am not mistaken, or probably just standard field gear that comes in training.

Were you at a (now semi-abandoned) '50s military post by any chance?

Thanks guys. The only thing I can say is that that was a routine mission. Can't expand on it much further. And yes, I was a sortof forward-observer. In the second picture, some random forest next to my hometown. Hiking and stuff.

You're very bold! To much, in my opinion ain't you allowed to have like a bit of hair in the Israelian army? I am unsure, but (as 'loyal' follower of the IDF twitter account they seem to post some pics of soldiers with a bit more hair, including females ofc

The IDF regulations don't allow hair beyond 2-3 centimeters. Those who have more than that either have a special permission or are reservists. Reservists are not under the same scrutiny of full-time soldiers.

Women are not required to cut their hairs.

For the record, I'm not in the IDF anymore.
