Thread: LME3 Vexillology thread (Campaign and Battle Flags)

Icon2 LME3 Vexillology thread (Campaign and Battle Flags)

I have initiated this thread to post any wishes or recommendations for changes to flags included in LME3 as well as a general discussion of flags.

    The topics are:

    • Campaign map flags
    • Infantry battle flags
    • Naval ensigns

The time period is 1792 until 1825 spanning the different campaigns, that facilitates different flags for each campaign!

If you have an idea or request for a specific flag then post in this thread with the following information:

    1. Faction using the flag
    2. Period in time the flag was used (source reference required, www link etc.)
    3. A picture of the flag or www link to the hosting site (the flag must have a full resolution of 400x400 pixels or higher, otherwise it will likely be rejected). The higher the resolution the better the quality.

    Thank you and likewise

Wouldn't it be a good idea to do a similar thing regarding custom units?

Honestly, I think your job is well done on the flags. Why would you change any of them. They are well researched and done.
Only thing to add is this: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=487838

That would be great Grand Artifex Iutland. Perhaps, you can release also a mod with your vast amount of regiments (with vanilla parameters or your own) and also add new custom units to it

Thanks for the feedback+Rep. the only problem is the resolution of the flags, much too low

I use this website for initial flag research everytime I'm trying to find a new one: http://flagspot.net/flags/index.html

For info: The current French Revolutionary battle flag originates from a photograph that I took myself at the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin last summer: http://www.dhm.de/ENGLISH/
