Advice to all Caledor and Saphery players
Hey, here a tip :
both of theses factions has two unique buildings that can allow you to earn 3000 $ per turn thanks to theses buildings' income
1) Caledor : in Spines of Vaul settlement, build the highest rank of smith (aka Vaul's Factory) in this settlement, read the description and you ll understand
Elven craftmanship is renowned throughout the world, and even the dwarves, who are crafters themselves, admire the delicately shaped yet resilient craftmanship of the Elves. Elvish weapons are both incredibly strong and extremely light, this is made possible by the material the elves call Ithilmar. This light metal allows for the Elves to wield weapons that would prove too heavy to carry if made of conventional iron or steel, and allows the blade to cut through even enchanted armor. Of course the best weapons and armor come from the Priests of Vaul, but any kingdom that values the lives of their soldiers will invest in a smith because relying of shipments from the faraway Anvil of Vaul would be a serious error in judgement...
2) Saphery : having a School of Magic (university tier3) IN HOETH, will allow you to recruit powerful Archmages but also to earn a lot of money, read description and you ll understand :
The Universities and Academies of Saphery are the most important repositories of knowledge in all Ulthuan. Hundreds of scribes, scholars and thousands of students collect and improve all the knowledge that can be gathered in the pure tradition of Hoeth god of wisdom and knowledge. Any noble with pretentions of receiving a quality education would head to Saphery as well as the most talented administrators of the different kingdoms. In addition, since the great majority of books are made in Saphery, many are set aside for exportation and provide a boost to the local economy. There is also a place in Hoeth where a specific and secret knowledge is studied : The School of Magic of Hoeth. Only the true elite amongst the best scholars can master the deep secrets of magic and become powerful mages. Only a few among these mages will ever become an Archmage. The true defenders of Saphery are the mages, they seek perfection in the Art of Magic and take example and inspiration from Caledor the dragontamer. The prestige of the School of Magic is so high that thousands of pilgrims of Hoeth come to the capital to buy magical amulets and listen to the best scholars' conferences, In addition, the School of Magic is the place where the best magical items are crafted (with exception of Spires of Vaul in Caledor) and are sold for vast amounts of gold, which in turn provides a huge boost for the economy of Saphery .
