not able to sally out of castle, FOTS

hi all,

I'm new to these forums, but I have been playing total war for a long time. I have bought FOTS and in my Satsuma campaign I'm unable to sally out of my castle My full stack army has to surrender, but I'm sure if I could sally out I'll be able to defeat them.

Is this a bug or are you just unable to sally out in FOTS ?

You should be able to sally out. When you are being sieged select your stack and attack the enemy force. Then press attack and you will sally to the battlefield.

I'm able to select my stack but I'm unable to attack the attacker who's besieging my castle.

Then it might be a bug. Experiment a little and see if you can. If you still can't then verify game files.

no, I still can't attack, is there any way I can remove the army or stop it from sieging my settlement?

I have tried using different saves and also attacking them with another army, but it didn't work. I didn't get the reinforcements from my castle.

Maybe your army has been sabotaged by a agent?
