We're going to made another mod for Asia. Honestly we're just trying to made a simple mod which can be done quickly first (the mod should work in the basic form before it can be improve) since we're none but a group of gamers and don't have much modding skill so we are first only going to release a battle only mod.

From the India sub-continent, the Delhi Sultanate now become the front lines again the Mongol invaders. It's both the curse and the bless. In one hand, facing such foes are grim but in the other hand it's the opportunity to unite India sub-continent and beyond. Not to say Indian elephants are many!
To the South, beyond the jungle and mountains, Đại Việt, the powerful kingdom begin to stir under the new Trần dynasty. Here at the delta of Red River the mighty Mongol hordes witness its humiliate defeat. Meanwhile the triple war for domination between Khmer Empire, Kingdom of Sukhothai and Pagan Kingdom have no sign to end.
For all that bloody conflicts, it's not enough. Powerful pirates fleets, assailed from hundreds ports of Java pouring to the mainland, carry with them dread warriors. They will be a crocodiles roaming across the sea, striking, burning, looting. But it's just a first step of the Great King.

I don't think suchyou should changes The Mongol by Liao dynasty and should add on the following country;dai viet, champa ,North Korean, South Korea, Japan and some countries South-East Asia as:
singapore, laos, thailand, myanmar, dongtimor, indonesia and cambodia however Laos can change by khmer dai viet is should do on ly_tran or nguyen also be
just be careful, dead mods doesn't meant you can violate their permissions, especially with un-contactable mod leader and modeller, please refer to mod's permission first before borrowing their units. Using modder's work without permissions is not good.
ya feel free to take anything from the old nusantara though
in the other hand, where is Soarin?
EDIT:
in RTW, there could only 20 factions separated in 6 cultures (7 cultures if you know a good coder)
so is there any faction lists?
EDIT AGAIN:
the map is only China? what extent of SEA you want to expand? *duh, hope this doesn't end up as AUH copy in RTW*
1. Let's me say again. We're just gamers and our modding skill are very limit. That's why all we can do is change the settlerment owner on campaign map and add/delete units, faction. However it's seem nobody are going to help in this i think we should learn to made the map ourselves
2.Faction lists in the first post.
Mongol
Xi Xia
Jin
Song
Tibet
Dali
Daiviet
These faction are fit with our current China map. IF we have to made the map for ourselves then it is possible to add Champa
3. We may use Nusantara units
4. We don't try to create the AUH Rome version. However... Personally the map about Second Mongol invasion of Daiviet is what i like more. However it will be too easy for the Mongol/Yuan faction since it control 3/4 map and Daoviet are not the Spartan of Asia! Yet again if we have to made the map for ourselves so i will reconsider about it

I'll say this is interesting, how about cutting the map to the north and expanding to the south? I meant the mongol empire could be controlling only small parts, but they are horde-able and everywhere, just like the Norwegians do in Viking Invasion II
remember that mongols invade as far south as Java too... if we only put the northern border at Huang He and western border at Kunlun, it would be pretty much doable if we expand south to Java and half of Kalimantan
making Mongols start with distinct advantage, and not playable on normal campaign may also help
