[RS2.5]Quote Workaround / Improved Spartan Eventpics

These are actually two different modifications. The first one:

Quote Workaround

As we all know, all quotes but one were removed in order to improve the stableness of the game.

This Workaround reintroduces the quotes, without decreasing game stability.

How I did it? (Warning, Hardcore modders only)

Pretty simple. We still have the different loading screens which cause no crash, so I figured that I could just set the quote directly on the loading screen, instead of entering the quotes on the normal way.

You canīt tell the difference, apart from two smaller issues:

1) The quotes now appear always with the same picture, instead of appearing on different ones. However, that is way better than one quote appearing on any picture.
2) Sometimes there appears a very small yellow dot on the loading screens. Just ignore it if you see it. They are a leftover from the normal quotes, and I canīt remove it (at least I donīt know how).

Shouldnīt be an issue tough, because it is really very small.


Now the other mod: Improved Spartan Eventpics



When playing the Spartan campaign, I couldnīt help but notice the lack of "Spartan Feeling". Sure, the campaign is great, but if you think of Sparta, most people associate it with 300 - me being one of them.

Thats why I created a few event pictures for my personal use, but I thought I might aswell share them with everyone. The gameplay itself wasnīt touched.

Installation instructions:

1. Copy the files you want to have (for example only the quote workaround, but not the Spartan Eventpics, or the other way round) in your Roma Surrectum main folder, the folder where you can see the different folders like "Play_arverni".

downloading now, it was getting tedious having the exact same quote "go tell the strangers...dead we lie" every single time while playing as Sparta
