We will need a host that has forwarded his ports.... otherwise the game won't go.

Sorry I wasn't there last game lads. I had some connection problems. Anyway, did the AI really screw my nation up or is it not that bad? If it really screwed up, I would like that my country is edited back in shape (not sure what that means though, ricky said I should request it ). Cheers

No, then we use Hamachi. Hamachi has always been the standard and someone with a forwarded port has been the exception, for some time though.

If you lads really want a host, I could do it. I already have my ports forwarded, but I can't guarantee good quality with this many people. I have only played with 3 people online with myself hosting so far. But if it's no problem hamachi would probably be better.

Sure, I'm fine with Mord not being able to play.... derp. No, we need ports forwarded. There's no reason why someone with a decent connection can't do it.

Because no access to the router settings, means no port forwarding...

Rickie, I know how to port forward. I've done it a hundred times when I was sailing the seven seas

Thing is, with this new router, everything goes into it (telephone, tv, music, broadband, you name it) and it has one hell of a firewall and I really don't want to mess with it. But I'll try to tonight again to port forward, if I succeed I suppose I can host tomorrow.

I've used Hamachi before no problem. The issue with my disconnects was with the EU map cache files.

If we can't get a reliable host who can port-forward, we might want to consider splitting this up into a Euro and US group (not sure where SLN would go) and doing this over Hamachi instead.

Right, yeah, my port isn't forwarded. We might have to go with Musty's suggestion, then.

Since i have to get up at 4am for this, can we work something out sooner then later?

I suggest we skip it and think of something else for next time, like what Musty suggested.

If we split the groups, id presume we would restart the game correct?
