Personally I don't want the restart, so I'm not sure who the piss poor luck is directed at? I'm the only one who had that.

And even that is debatable. If you had bribed your PUs, nothing would have happened.

But that also isn't the point at all. just leave the bad luck and screw-ups out of this.

Again, my two reasons for the restart are this:
    - Let Mord back in and give him the chance to start afresh (i'd be happy to do test games to see if it's "fixed" on Saturday if people are about).
    - Set the newbies up with nations and mentors.

I'm not going to say anymore, since it's clear to me there's a camp of a few against, a camp of a few who are for, and a bunch who either don't care or don't want to say either way - so it looks like we'll just carry on as normal.

Give a man a fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of the day.

It will just require Austin or Rickie to run a couple of test games, as they're the ones that are capable of hosting without Hamachi.

lol maybe. Last I checked, Burgundy has full land sliders, a very small starting navy and strong neighbours to defend from. Should be interesting.

Get rid of the strong neighbors, land sliders, and keep the small navy. That is my Burgundy.

A Burgundy that brokered deals with England and Spain, probable ascendance to Emperor, a dead France, and a dominant trade game.

Already sounds like it's leagues ahead of an England that was invaded, pillaged and broken up several times.

    Map?

    Castille

-Took Northern Morocco into direct Spanish governance. Vassalised what was left. Preparing to do the same to Algiers and Tripoli when....

-War with Aragon and the Ottoman Empire. Took two provinces from Aragon.

-At the same time, repulsed an Ottoman Invasion of Egypt and, alongside the Mamluk Sultanate, held the country until the Ottomans peaced out to fight the Timurid Horde.

The Teutonic order took Mazovia, Riga and Gotland, it also renamed most provinces

    Kingdom of Majapahit:

Finding our Religious brothers though somewhat swayed off the path, under the oppression of the Aceh Empire... Majapahit declared war to free them from opression, succesfully destroying the Aceh power block and taking 3 provinces into our Fold. Aceh were later vassalised.
While trying to improve our ailing economy, we noticed out neighbours weak royal lines and decided they would be better in our fold. Pegu was brought into our lines via force while La Nan peacefully, Khmer are in the process of being forcible brought in.

Austria fights for dominance in the east with Bohemia, who is supported by Burgundy and the Teutonic Order.
