Glorious Italy was just beginning. I played a little on with the save and my military was doubled within 20 years and my economy so high I couldn't possibly mint everything I could because I would end up getting 20 ducats a month (without getting inflation ofc).

You misunderstood me clearly. I have already stated that ming>italy. Though I dont agree that the Ottomans or Scandinavia are placed above me.

I put Scandinavia with you because Scandinavia has this inane ability to kick ass despite having a tiny number of troops. Swedish discipline is always absolutely through the roof compared to other countries, excluding Prussia (who never gets their OP reforms anyway because we don't play that long). So basically Scandinavia would have been able to invade you and wreck you, if they managed to land troops on your land. Which they couldn't, because your navy would have stopped them. I also put Ottomans above you because, to my knowledge, they were fully westernised and had a much larger army than you. If they had a war with you I believe they could have beaten you due to them being able to outnumber you.

I was just checking out the Paradox forums, I saw there's a thread about the absolute strongest possible troops you can have in the game. One good candidate is following.

start as sweden->enact swedish steel->culture shift yourself into saxon culture->form prussia->enact prussian military reforms

you can add absolute monarchy government and all the other bonuses at your leasure

or you can play austria and form prussia->prussian military reforms. doesn't austria get like some indirect military boosts, like reinforcement speed or something?
