Here a very early WIP stage of the High Elves bodyguard horses ussing TATW armor parts.


We will need a suit texture of "silk" cloth on pearl color with blue/golden elvish markings and one suit with blue silk with silver elvish markings.

This is a very beautiful horse, but may I question the practicality of just 1 line of scaled armor protcting the spine of the mount? I'm not anything close to a history expert regarding horse-armor, but it looks like it's just eye-candy.

(ofc I would be glad to be proven otherwise)

You should ask TATW dev team to tell you where they found the concept of armored Elvish horses.
In fact it would be better if someone could create a full body armor for the rest of the body too.

I have expressed my opinion regarding TATW's artistic direction many times in the past
I agree on the latter, a full body-armor for the Elven horses is something lacking, among others.

So are the instructions in the folder correct or the ones on the OP? there are some differences between them.

Also does it require vanilla or is it irrelative of what mods I have?

I think the instructions in the op are the most updated. They can work with any mod cause the way it was released it is supposed to be manually implemented.

Working on the general concept of the elvish armored horses i realised that Elves bodyguard bodies are smaller and thiner than other ones.
Compare them with "men" bodies and their size.

Not ONLY smaller but they have invisible secondary passive weapons.
TATW mod has its own codding name of the mesh and textures and i am too lazy to search them inorder to fix them.
For the horses:
No i wont...The armor textures are TGC mod's ...Untill someone will create Dale textures the horses can not be released.
The same will happen with Elvish horses. This is only a model testing phase not a horse to be released.

Sorry, Anthonius. I cannot commit to any project right now due to real life stuff. I really appreciate all the help you gave to this project but, right now is a bad moment for me. Anyway, you put a huge effort in this project and without you it could never have happened and I have a lot of respect for you because of that. I would like to ask any moderator to allow Anthonius to modify the op as he wishes cause this project is his project too. Thank you guys!
