Hello everybody. Allow me to present my third Unit Pack for Shogun 2: Total War. This time for latest release - Fall of the Samurai expansion. Unit Pack currently has 53 brand new units. All kinds of traditional, western and modern soldiers. With this pack you will no longer suffer from lack of variety between units. Enjoy this completely free Unit Pack for Shogun 2: Total War.

This Unit Pack will give you 53 brand new units which can be used in Fots campaign and in custom battles with FotS clans. Most Western and Elite units using bayonets now aswell as are able to create square formation.

Important Mods Info: This Mod is made for English version of the game - only this version will show unit names and descriptions. If you running other language versions simply change language of Shogun in steam, redownload english package and enjoy all names and texts visible. Or use UPC project so the unit names and descriptions are properly displayed.

!!!! This mod is made for Fall of the Samurai campaign and custom battles, do not use it if you going to play Rise of the Samurai campaign or original Shogun 2 campaign (for that use my Unit Pack 1 and Unit Pack 2 Mods) !!!!

!!!! This mod is recommended to play with my mods like Units, Upkeep, Stats and AI Mods to have properly balanced unit stats, costs, recruitment !!!! Its also included in FotS Overhaul.

Important info: All my mods created until today are fully compatible together and no matter which version from them you will use. You can use them seperately, but for best gaming experience i recommend to use them all together. There may be some problems with other mods which modding same files. I hope you will enjoy them and they will bring you better times with S2TW.

Installation:

Place file in your Shogun 2 Data folder. This can be found here - Drive X:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\total war shogun 2\data
(so extract the .pak file to the above location, OR extract the file, then copy and paste to the location in bold above)

I am not historical fanatic but i found some relations to this type of unit and it was some kind of infantry, mostly grenadiers (wont work in fots, tried), so why not?

Well done Radious. At last a "pure Samurai traditionalist" campaign can be attempted with more than one type of cavalry and some infantry variety!

There's just so many battles one can enjoy dishing out thousands of casualties in 2 minutes before it gets a bit....samey.

Ships are problematic to add, there are no more unsed models and they cant be changed like units with clothes, faces, uniforms, details.

My mods are made to be without caps, but dont worry AI is well balanced to use units properly, made several tests and its creating all units without massing 1-2 types. Its part of Unit Pack to make sure AI will be able to create all of them and in balanced numbers.

I prefer easiest way to get mods working for you, therefore no scripts or installers which makes at most cases only problems. I guess after instalation you can open it in game folder.
