The Security Office
Here is where the Security team operate from, ensuring the safety of the ship and its crew. Attached is a brig where prisoners and any charged crew members are held until trial. Next door to the security office is the armoury where the more substantial weaponry held aboard the ship is kept.

'Hey, ya' know if Marines report 'ere or where?'

Lieutenant Blanc enters the office. Seeing it already filled with personnel he decides to take this moment and offer a formal introduction and orientation.

Good day to you all. I am Lieutenant Blanc, ze head of Security. I am your ranking officer.

The Lieutenant removed his cap, polished to a zeal, and walked across the floor, his boots squeeking.

I will first give you an idea of what to expect from me. As you will notice, I 'ave taken strenuous effort to ensure that my uniform is presentable, clean, and crisp. I will expect nothing less from any of you. We shall carry a standard phaser pistol at all times on our dominant hip to allow for ease of access in ze event of an emergency. Your behavior at all times must be...above reproach. I look forward to serving with you all.

Blanc clasped his hands behind his back and continued.

Now, as some of you might already know, a certain Captain Kampf has come aboard the vessel. Make no mistake zat theranking officer in charge remains Captain Mountbatten and besides mine, his orders shall be considered law. Zis Captain Kampf is from Starfleet Internal Affairs. As of yet his true mission is unclear, but treat him with the appropriate respect as is due a man of his rank.

Grissom leans in and offers a hand.

"Lieutenant Blanc? Lieutenant Commander Thomas Grissom, XO. Just touring the ship and meeting the department heads. How are you settling in?"

Malic stands at ease, slightly confused by what the man said. It was unusual for the universal translator to include accents, and Malic was finding it hard to understand the man.

Blanc made a crisp salute

We are settling in quite well, Commander. I was just briefing my men.

'Hey Mally, you seem ta' be havin' trouble. Lemme translate for ya'. The frenchie says that we're gonna have ta' look pretty and carry a phaser at all times. In addition, we report to Cap'n Mounbat'n. Got it?'

Lieutenant Kalelothran arrived, it would be his job that these men were kept up to date with intelligence on any species they may encounter in the Gamma Quadrant and what weapons they may have he enters the room and waits for the Head of Security.

Blanc turned to Harrison, his face turning a shade of red.

Private Harrison you will stand at attention in my presence and refer to me as "Lieutenant Blanc" or "sir" is zat perfectly understood?

Noticing Lieutenant Kalelothran enter Blanc extended his hand.

Good morning Lieutenant,I apologize for ze behavior of my men. May I help you? Lieutenant Blanc, chief security officer.

[Tazgrent]

Grissom nods.

"Glad to hear it. I'll leave you to preparing for the voyage ahead."

He makes his exit.

The Vulcan took the man's hand, though it was not his usual method of greeting others it would have been...illogical... to not have done so,
"Lieutenant Blanc."
he nodded,
"I am here to provide you, and you men, with any information you may require on enemies we may face in this Quadrant, as well as information about planets we visit. May I...request...lieutenant, that when we do stop on planets and you and your men investigate, that I may come along to further the knowledge of this Quadrant. It is a truth that much of the Gamma Quadrant is still a mystery to us and the opportunity to collect further intelligence must not be missed."

Of course, Lieutenant. We will always work to ensure the safety of the crew. If you can keep me appraised of any findings, or security sensitive information, I will always be availabe.

Blanc turned to Harrison, his face turning a shade of red.

'Yessir!' Harrison snaps to attention. Granted, he wasn't actually under Blanc's command, but since he couldn't seem to find the Marine commander...

Seeing Blanc's rank insignia David stretches his hand forward.

"I am Lieutenant David Abbot Chief Tactical Officer and I would need some information from you Lieutenant."

Blanc took the man's hand and shook it vigorously.

Of 'course, Lieutenant. How may I be of assistance?

David liked the handskake and smiled.

"As I just told you I am the Tactical Officer for this vessel and I would like to update the tactical simulator with the crew and weapons so it is up to date, since right now it have only the general numbers for a ship of this class but I would really like the exact numbers for optimal performance in the simulator for boarding actions.So I would need to how many security officers there are, the number of marines and the inventory of the armory."
