It has been a few years since I was last producing unit packs for Napoleon, but I am back and I have a new creation to present to you.

Yes Dileos they can be done, Only downfall is the officer won't have the rank shoulder bars but there added to the to do list

If you want to use 'colonial looking' units, I'd suggest Turkestan units for the Russians. They do have rather snazzy uniforms, I think:

As far as I can tell, the Vereschagin paintings are the only depictions of Russian colonial infantry in this period. However, Vereschagin is generally regarded (as far as I know) as a quite reliable source.

If you plan to add foreign cavalry later, let me know and I can dig out his pictures of various Central Asian warriors. Nothing like conquering Japan with a horde of Tatar horsemen. Where Genghis Khan failed, Alexander II shall succeed!

To bad that its not possible to add a civil war mod for shogun 2, so we would continue our jorney making these mods


A small feedback to that unit:
Please remove the red stripes on the trousers. Regular infantry didnt have any stripes, expect artillery units for example

What about Buffalo Soldiers? They'd fit the time period, and it would be cool to see African American soldiers in strange circumstances fighting Japanese samurai in a far off land. I think regiments of Black US cavalry 'Buffalo Soldiers' were commanded by White Officers, but don't hold me on that one, I'm not 100% sure.
