That is supposed to be the reason that they shouldn't go rebel? Really, I don't see any logic in THAT.
Regarding your logic:
The Greeks were drunkards and boy-lovers and yet waged many a war.
The Romans were drunkards and boy-lovers and yet waged many a war.
The French are drunkards, speak a *** language and yet waged many a war (and except for the Napoleonic ones they always got their asses kicked).

The French lost the Napoleonic wars by getting their asses kicked by Russian winter and then twice by the Duke of Wellington. If they can be classified as warfaring Drunkards they done a very poor job at that
The link you provided does explain alot of things but the fact that the emergent faction will (as well as i could understand the mechanics of it) target especific regions and will probably spawn next to this region (cuz aradan said they would be fast about it).
what makes no sense is why a estabilished "kingdom" with a capital and such would target settlements not close by? maybe they got drunk and lost their way back home...
again very interesting link though
If Dorwinion is part of Dale it makes sense to me. Also we do not know the conditions that trigger the emergence. If you compare to vanilla BI, you also have the Romano-British. I haven't played BI for long, so I never encountered a faction emerging and I do not know how it 'works'.
Ow i like this. This will explain some of the things aradan said, like "they wont be very menacing" as in "they wont jump in the midlde of your map and take your cities"
ok im convinced i think it will be dorwinion too. Lorewise they are strong enough to resist most of the third age without great losses, but are they strong enough to rebuild Dale and confront the other "bigger" factions?
