    Very nice preview!!
But these aren't all of the unist the two factions can recruit, right? They will have a bit more variety..?
Also looking these units are quite lightly equiped compared to some other factions, like hellenic factions, carthagians, romans and even celts. Will this make them a bit less effective in battle?Since they are "desert people" will they fight better in the desert to make a difference?

I think the other (regional) Arabian units will feature in a later update.

These are a mere fraction of the total of units planned. There are several more for the first release and hopefully the final release will count a total of about 30 units for Arabia alone (at least that's what I've planned). Both factions will have some ten to twelve core units and there'll be some very interesting regionals as well.

I don't think there are any visible vowels in their written language, so some of the pronunciation might have been lost to history. One could cross-reference between languages but perhaps not for all syllables. My guess is the m in Sb' w-gwm signifies plurality (em). The singular form is gw. The last syllable could therefore be em. But it's just a guess

Actually words like hmw (their) and gwm (all of their) are one of the few words we could possibly have hint of how they were spoken. The w would probably be pronounced as a long /u:/ if I'm not mistaken.

I'm still confused as to how you even pronounce Sb' w-gwm. The closest i've come is Saba-ugum, is that even close?

But in Sb' w-gwm the first w clearly equals and (as in Saba and all of their communities), which would be pronounced wa right?

Yes the 'w' prefix indicates an 'and'.

Didn't know that a new preview had been released. There were more then 30 people viewing the EB II forum as I entered, which was good to see in and of itself. A lot of people are anxious for this mod. Thanks, and keep up the great work!

Bon travail! Dis-les que les chameaux auront seulement un guerrier sur le dos. Mon français n'est plus bien, comme tu vois. Alors, mes excuses pour pas répondre a l'autre forum.

I loved the saba in EB1. I played the hell out of them, despite the fact that their units were somewhat weak. (I mean, their archer spearmen were awesome, but once you start expanding towards the AS or the P`s the lack of armor would hurt.)

Now, this is just awesome. I`m looking forward to them.
