Here it is folks, the big one. Narnia brought to life in 3d TBS/RTS format with magic, centaurs, scimitars, badgers and zebra-riding zulus to boot. Onward, through the wardrobe!
To everyone: there is now a BUG REPORTS thread on the above forum, please report any bugs there if you find them. Many thanks!

Anyway, once I've downloaded where do the files go? The mods folder?
Basically you should put the Narnia folder inside the Rome - Total War folder (on the same level as the RTW Data folder). Then just hit the shortcut provided, making any changes if your RTW is installed somewhere other than the usual, and the mod should work.

Other than that, looks good and would be worth the download. I'll download it soon.
What's inaccurate about it, to your thinking? We've added more places & detail than in the books, but the map is essentially as close as possible to the information given by Lewis.
We've been making this for almost a year in M2... How did you do this?
I've been working on this for at least as long, I just tend to be pretty quiet about it on here until releases and focus my activity on the Exilian dev forums. There also aren't that many original models, etc, which helps us do it with a small team; a lot of it's old modpacks released by Bwian, RTW vanilla models, some from Warhammer TW, and a lot of very nifty reskins by Comrade.

One bug you should note, though, is that the main menu(s) are extremely laggy, for no reason. In game, it's fine. But it's extremely difficult setting up a game with that kind of lag.

Linky linky to my last.fm profile! Clicky clicky! If you like anything that ranges from breakbeat to downtempo/chillout, from house to drum & bass, you might find something new in between! (Artist suggestions are more than welcome )
I can't get it to launch. No matter where I put it, RTW launches as itself, not Narnia. However, when I try to use the launcher, it looks like RTW is about to launch, then nothing happens. D<
Anybody have any ideas as to how to get this to work? Running Windows 7, 64bit.
Can you give me a printout of the command line in the shortcut you're using, and a screenshot of the file folder where Narnia is installed? Then I might be able to suggest what's going wrong.
Hello everyone, first of all the creator of this mod Jubal Barca did release a new and final version on october, 18 -2017 which can be downloaded at this link here:
KurdishNomad decided to remake the rosters of this mod and add units based on the movies. He has already done some work on the mod despite working on The Last Airbender: Total War and Runescape: Total War as well.
Work went on during september and october on this mod, during which KurdishNomad remade the Kingdom of Narnia and Telmarine Narnia - both factions are almost completed and are only lacking their heroes, a unique bodyguard in the case of Telmarine Narnia, and possibly additional animal units in the case of the Kingdom of Narnia.
The Kingdom of Narnia also has units from both the first and the second movie - KurdishNomad has made all the models from scratch but is using the textures from the official games. Which means that the textures are really good and do look accurate. The models of the official games weren't suitable for the old RTW engine - so he made his own models but used the skins from the games.

"Hello, so KurdishNomad is remaking all the Narnia: Total War factional rosters - the made-up factions of Koraly, Munesh, Surval and Erina have been cut from the new version of the mod.
The mod has also seen a port to the Alexander-expansion - that will enable heroes in battle such as Prince Caspian, the Pevensies, King Miraz of Telmarine Narnia, the White Witch etc. We are even planing to have the Green Witch and the Earthmen play a more major role.
We're aiming for a mod with the units looking like in the movies, and as such any made-up factions had to go. The Centaur Rangers are the latest unit to be remade."
KurdishNomad has already completed all the unit cards for the units with the exception of maybe two or three Telmarine units. He decided to continue working on The Last Airbender: Total War after he completed Telmarine Narnia during late october. He said he will finish and release it's first release - then return to Narnia: Total War - the next faction planed is the army of the White Witch from the first movie - Marauders in the second movie. We can expect this faction to have minotaurs, wolves, giants and ogres among other things.
I did upload a video of a battle between Telmarine Narnia and the Kingdom of Narnia from the 2nd movie - AI VS AI only battle:
KurdishNomad himself uploaded another battle between the Kingdom of Narnia from the first movie and Telmarine Narnia:
