    Default Rome Coder Available

Alright, right now I'm totally bored, I don't have anything to do, so I thought I'd offer my help to some mod or other.
I'm a coder for Rome Total War, I'd evaluate my knowledge somewhere around here:
    unit-coding: advanced-expert
    unit-balancing: intermediate-advanced
    building-coding: intermediate
    campaign-coding: advanced
other coding: intermediate-expert (depending on what area, some are a lot easier than others)
I don't do scripting, I have no clue when it comes to that, and I don't do mapping, modelling or texturing.
This is all for Rome Total War, I could do Medieval 2 Total War, but I only do unit coding and balancing there, I have no experience with the other areas in that game, but I'm told their all very similar...
I prefer fantasy settings, ideally ones that haven't been done tenthousand times before

so you don't want to do a 16th-17th century mod that includes the Americas, Africa and Europe for Medieval I'm guessing?

Might want to add something before I start helping people: I've had the problem in the past, that on some mods I got something to do when I joined, but when I was done with that I didn't get anything new to do, so I quickly forgot about the mod. All I want to say is that if I don't get enough to do, I will forget checking on the mods forum and won't be up to date on the mod. I'll still do stuff, mind you, I just won't be up to date, but if I get a pm with something that needs to be done, I'll do it of course...

    Now, about your question:
Well, I'll put it this way: It's not exactly what I was thinking of, no, but if you need/want my help, I'll be happy to give it to you.
It's just that I'm not too fond of mods that reproduce something another mod has already done (meaning timeperiod and setting), it's just boring, if you get what I mean. The modding itself is fun, but you don't create anything that hasn't already been done, so you don't get the same kind of satisfaction from making the mod, than you would if you made something completely new.

Anyways, I'm ranting on about stuff that isn't important, lol^^, like I said, if you want/need my help, I'll be happy to help. Note that I don't have that much time the next few days (I'm not going to be at home), but there are computers where I'm going, so I'll be able to do some stuff
Could you perhaps send me a link to your mods page and/or send me a PM explaining what you want me to do?

sure. Mostly we need coding for adding factions. Yeah I know. Not the most fun work, but we need a lot of it. our page is here: Kingdoms and Empires. And I don't think the setting has been redone.

No problem, in contrast to most people I actually think coding stuff like that is fun
Right, could you send me a description of what you want me to do exactly? Then I could start doing some stuff...
