Answering some questions regarding family members and generals

Well I've seen numbers of people posted thier question like where the h*ll the ai got their generals from or
they've managed to assasinated tons of their enemy daimyos and yet most of the hostile clans still get new daimyo every turns.

I will try to answers these questions from my experince

it goes like this :


If all the male family members died then

If they have youth heir (not come of age) -> mother is regent
If not -> A far relative of the daimyo will take command of the clan
or If not -> one of the clan generals will stage a coup and become the new daimyo without changing their family name(Ex. daimyo Tanegashima Katamori of Satsuma clan)



*Some more note: in the event of "If not" case the clan will suffer some unhappiness penalty for awhile.

and for the general question , I believe the ai get their generals the same way you did.


I can answered these question because I've experinced all of these case. So don't blame me for being a bad ass player
