Nah, if anything the RPG fora are located in the wrong section. They belong into the CVRIA, not vice versa, considering the CVRIA being the oldest of those fora.

While it's tradition to create April fools drama, it might be best to stick to the easy stuff like changing the main page to My Little Pony Total War.

Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, - quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes.

If mind is common to us, then also the reason, whereby we are reasoning beings, is common. If this be so, then also the reason which enjoins what is to be done or left undone is common. If this be so, law also is common; if this be so, we are citizens; if this be so, we are partakers in one constitution; if this be so, the Universe is a kind of commonwealth.

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.

There is no chaos in the world, only complexity.
Knowledge of the complex is wisdom.
From wisdom of the world comes wisdom of the self.
Mastery of the self is mastery of the world. Loss of the self is the source of suffering.
Suffering is a choice, and we can refuse it.
It is in our power to create the world, or destroy it.

Ο Νούς νοεί τον εαυτόν του ως κράτιστος και η νόησή του είναι της νοήσεως νόησις.

'Nothing is true, everything is permitted.' is merely an observation of the nature of reality. To say that nothing is true, is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say that everything is permitted, is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.

    No, wise guy.

Everything depends on what you want to say, in what thread, with whom you want to talk and in what direction you want your conversation to go. No one has to read each and every post in a thread in order to take part in a discussion with another person. No one has to read and understand each and every argument of each and every participant in order to understand your argument and in order to discuss your argument with you. One can successfully comment one sentence of your post and expand it in a separate, though still on topic, discussion, without having to read everything in a thread.

You know that perfectly. You perfectly know that conversation doesn't have to be restrictive, don't you?

Per analogiam, do you read every historical book about certain events that has been written in order to form an opinion about those events? Of course not. Do you understand what I mean?

That is the definition of "lack of common sense", to me at least.
You've actually put this crap in my post, although I've said something exactly opposite, which is evident in my posts, simply because you think that I'm critical about the prank only because, as you think, I've believed for a moment that the prank is not prank but reality.

I think you are not in position to instruct anyone about what should be done in order to understand an argument, because you don't use your own rules. This is not my first post in this thread and more than once I've stated perfectly clear that I'm not one of those enraged/disappointed/fooled by the prank and that I didn't believe the prank is reality. What problem have you got with reading few posts of mine and understand them, I have no idea. Just don't teach me, if you can't apply your own rules.

But that was not what I meant...

How can you check if an utterance of a language is logically correct or not if you don't quite understand that language? Wszystkie ptaki są dwunożne, Piotr jest dwunożny, więc Piotr jest ptakiem. True or false? You can't know this, because you don't know Polish. Does it make you unable to think logically? No. Do you understand what I mean?

You don't have to reply, if you don't want to. I have no interest in discussing things with a guy who is in fact malicious to the extent he can't properly understand a post, and just makes up its contents according to his own beliefs about a person he is talking with.

In my opinion, the prank was mediocre and not particularly funny, because it wasn't especially well prepared and because it was addressed to limited publicity, despite the fact that it concerned general issue, and it was also based, unintentionally, on too many false assumptions. I'm not against pranks, but to praise a prank that wasn't good, that's simply too much. That's all I wanted to say. Don't twist it around.

Misha is a russian pet name. His real name is thomas, and half the site doesn't think he exists. If you look at my steam friends list you'll know he does exist and that everything I've said about him is true.

EDIT: I was also a little pissed at greens when i made the original statement, so I was out of line in saying that in the PVP discussion thread, just to let you guys know. I wouldn't dare threaten the integrity of TWC

Ah, the blessing of Google translate, but that only proves my point. This is simple example that is taught on in beginning classes of logic. Nothing of a nuance here. But put it in wider context of an occasional joke, understandable only for few, and even if you can translate it by yourself, you won't be laughing, because there will be nothing for you to laugh at.

It's like watching a comedy film with friends, and then telling the story to those who couldn't come to watch it with you.

What does that have to do with anything? See how it works is this. For you to actually obtain ownership of the site via hacking, then the actual account stuff like who the registrar is, what the username and password for that account are, have to be stored on a computer.

They are not, so you couldnt actually get control of the domain name.

Second, even if you DID manage to hack the TWC servers, you could only get the database and files. You wouldnt get the machines themselves. If I truly wanted to be an ass, all I would have to do is unplug them. I havent seen a hacker yet who can hack an unplugged machine.

    Dont post idiocy.
