    Icon1 Medieval 2: Total War has encountered an unspecified error and will now exit

    Hello all,

    Tried to install and reinstall medieval 2 only to get the error in the title. the game will "boot" and will show a black screen on a quarter of the monitor on to crash a few seconds later. I've looked in the previous threads and have disabled UAC but this has done nothing.

    I've attached the DxDiag and system.log to see if that helps anyone.
