It could just be that all maps historically are interesting subjects to study because of their inherent historical complexity which is all I got from his message not that this one particularly is special. Just about any map of any region would hold interest for me, probably the only region that would hold no relevance for me are the Americas because it is one set of regions I've never paid any attention to because one person only has so much attention.
