rs2.6 NO BANNERS OR BORDERS{EXTREME FOG OF WAR}

this mod adds extreme challenge and immersion to the rs campaign map by removing borders and strat flags .
the player has to become a real general and use spying , scout partys, his memory, insticts and decision making to get a feel of whats going on in the ever changing map .
it is designed to make roma surrectum 2.5 harder on the campaign map.
Its like an advanced fog of war combined with no borderlines adding difficulty for those looking to step up a level of strat campaign hardness and realism , any probs let me know
all ai units and citys strengths should only be looked at using spys/diplomats/assasins or scout partys engagements, this takes the player deeper into the strat map campaign, enjoy

HOW TO INSTALL....
1.UNZIP THE ZIP FILE INTO YOUR MAIN RTW INSTALATION ....{r unzip to my documents then copy the folder over}
2.YOU WILL GET A {CLICK YES TO ALL} MESSAGE......
3.THEN GO TO THE RS 2.5 LAUNCHER AND DELETE MAPS RWM....
4.RUN GAME AND ENJOY NO BANNERS OR BORDERS{EXTREME FOG OF WAR}......
SHOULD BE SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE.....

{if your not sure and just want to try it out, extract the folder somewhere else open it and look at the few files and make backups of them from your rs2.5 folder beforehand , that way if you dont like NO BANNERS OR BORDERS you can revert back at a later date}
11/april edit....... if you still see banners you must copy the sub mod txt descr standards file into the specific campaign folder {this may be the case for the new swap factions or rome 0 turn }

im using caligula caesars map textures, i just prefer them it shows the map up better for me, lush greens through to rusty brown

hey, terrific mod.
one question though ( i dont have RS2.5) can you see your armies power? and can i enable border lines?
i would place a banner for every army and city (either filled banner or empty banner) just to make it easier to spot them on the campaign

errm not sure what your saying , rephrase...you can not see your armys banner or the ai or borderlines , you can see memory flags{the memory of the faction that owned last time you found out}the aim is that the player has to act like a real leader and use spying , scout partys his instinct ,his memory , and his decision making without knowing all the info , it will test you more on the campaign and is designed to make the game harder, if you want to try it , make backups of the files involved {not many}then you can revert back if you dont like it , hope this helps , cheers

that wasnt what i expected as an answer, i know what the mod is abaout, im just suggesting things.
what i meant was: you must know that every army has a banner, as well as a city. when an army has 5 regiments, the banner (e.g. Rome) is mostly light red. when it has 20 regiments, the banner is fully dark red. do you get what i mean?
what im asking you is, for me its hard to spot the campagin armies, as well as cities. to make it easier, is it possible to add just a banner to the army, without taking in account the army´s power. also, i think its unreallistic that you general doesnt know HIS army´s power, so for your own units, it would be better to add the normal banner
