1281, duke Charles II Idonis dies at an age of 54. His son, Nicolas Idonis, 20 years old, starts a campaign to expand the Idonian borders into the lands now known as Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and Djibouti. His son, Timothy Idonis, expands even further into Malawi and much of Mozambique. Timothy dies in 1375 in attempt to conquer a part of South Sudan, but his son succeeds one year later and rules over Idonia at it's greatest extent and renames the Duchy of Idonia to the Grand-Duchy of Idonia.
