Hi all,
just purchased and downloaded FOTS and now the game crashes back to the steam home page.. It was working fine right until I downloaded it..Any ideas, should I do a fresh install then re-install the mods?

Mods should work fine if you play original campaign or rots dlc campaign. Do not play FotS campaign with my mods, for it i must release new mods.
I was able finally to find crash issue related to battles. Seems latest patch altered table called unit_stats_land again. This is very important table for any unit rebalance. However we modder do not have access to this table yet, since our modding tool - PFM must be updated. Till then avoid using any of my mods which contains this table:
Unit Pack 1, Unit Pack 2, Stats Mod, Units Mod and my Total Overhauls.
Question, has anyone else confirmed that the original campaign is working with your mods and they're not experiencing crashes? I'm crashing at every battle start and I'm only trying to play through the original campaign. Really has me baffled. I just don't know what to do to fix it. It runs fine until a battle starts.
You have to adjust radious tweaks/mods for the version you want to play.
Do you want to play the original shogun2 campaign: put the radious shogun2 tweaks in your data folder
Do you want to play the Fall of the samurai campaing: delete all radious shogun2 tweaks/mods and put the Radious Fall of the samurai tweaks/mods in the data folder.
Read my post right above yours. recent patch changed some files which must be fixed - for fix modders need updated modding tool - Pack File Manager. Until this tool is updated i cant fix what patch broken and these 4 mods will cause crash in battle loading screen: Stats, Units, Unit Pack 1 and Unit pack 2.
I understood that, just thought in one of your previous posts you said it should be good for the original campaign, but not the newest. I just was trying to figure if the mods are now causing issues on ALL campaigns, or whether it was something on my computer's end doing it in relation with the latest patch itself. The new campaign is a beast of a game in terms of size from what I'm now reading in related forums, and it looks like it may be the very cause. Thank you both for your prompt responses though and of course the mods! =D
