Clarification on 40 units for Shogun 2

How is anyone supposed to play an 80 unit battle on reasonable settings unless they have 580+ grade hardware?

If you can't handle it now then it's optional till you can later, you shouldn't
be so ready to critique such, besides 570 or 560 Ti should be able to handle
it on medium graphics which should be enough for anyone and with
such a scale you wouldn't be zooming in much at all.

Nevermind, just read the Patch Notes. Very fair to include it in the basegame (even though I already have FoTS anyway )!

Does this work for vanilla S2 as well? Just because you actually started the Date campaign and gave you two stacks, so I was wondering .

Everyone who has Shogun 2 has this feature, even if they haven't got FotS.

Here here aswell ! Would buy as a dlc ! I m already playing an mpc with 40 units per stack and a UI mod to show the units cards however the reinforcement limit ( < 20 units for reinforcement to enter battlefield ) is hard coded .

I want to give my congratulations to CA for choosing the right path. Just because a company releases a standalone expansion, that doesn’t mean that the original title must be abandoned. Releasing new features for the main game that are already included in the expansion give us, the players, the sensation that the original game was not forgotten and our money was not thrown away.

Exactly, I know atleast 6 guys in my college who love TW but dont have the hardware to play them, even my pc struggles with Shogun 2 since it was the worst running TW I have ever seen, NTW ran the best, they shouldnt upgrade the graphics for the next game since they are state of the art atm.
