    Default Tools for recoloring units?

Hello to all! I'm new to modding and was curious as to what tool I should use to recolor certain units, because I find somewhat annoying not being able to visually determine who my troops are, for example the Saxon Huscarls look no different in any faction. Thanks for reading.

    Hey Zongo

The files are .texture so I would recommend Photoshop for this purpose.

EDIT: Hmm, sorry, at least my version of Photoshop 7 doesn't open .texture files... not sure then!

Hey guys, I would like to do that to, but don't know how to open texture files. Could anyone help?

Units didn't have uniforms back then, so they all looked alike, but that's why you have banners.

I don't know how to change what you want, though.

You can get a .texture converter and then you'll need Photoshop. Depending on what converter you use you may need .dds filters for Photoshop (it's handy to have this if you're going to mod).
Were there but a tree in this godforsaken place i would have hanged myself.
