Turn off UAC.
A quick google....

Turning off UAC is pretty simple. Just follow the steps below and remember it will not turn off until you reboot your computer.
Win 7:
1. Press Start, write "UAC" in search window, "Change User Account Control settings" should be found - click it.
2. Move the slider downwards to "never notify" position.
3. Press "OK" and reboot computer
Vista:
Try Win 7 method, but untick "Use User Account Control..." alternatively you can go to main User Accounts page in Control Panel, click "Change Security Settings" and then untick before mentioned element.
according to my test,it seems like that the saved game file used in RS2.1A is still working in RS2.5,such as the "coward Publius" rebecome Publius Cornelius Scipio ,and the new sky model, city model and the new traits like Imperator and Caesar occurs.i guess i could continue my roman conquer way!!
Playing as the Seleucids when I besiege a Parthian city they do not have any additional garrisons added - is this deliberate?
Thank you
Hello, its been awhile since i posted in here, just recently instaled roma surrectum 2.5, been getting some CTD's, playing as rome 0turn, got couple in the middle of the battle, one that were consistent in 1st battle against Hannibal, i think it had something to do with my graphics setting i turn it down abit and it went away, 2nd one was when after battle with Hannibal i attcked 2nd carthage stack near tarentum, i think it was bcos they were ambushing me tho it doesnt make much sence for them to ambush me when im attacking them, last one and most recent was when i won the battle and was pursuing fleeing carthage guys just before finishing them off i got a CTD, couldnt recreate that one tho.
Also i noticed some issues with some of the textures or smth not sure how to call it, some artifacts keep apearing when im traveling with my units through campaing map or when i move my mouse cursor above some of the details, its not very consistent so im not very sure what could cause this.
When i take a settlement from an enemy, should i destroy all of their buildings? Do i get any negative effect by having them in my settlement?
but what kind of buildings? a Greek foundry would not cause unrest would it?
My issue is that every single turn, the "senate/consul elections are happening next turn" message appears by the adviser.
