Another issue with the barbarian towns. They sallied out only to start smashing into the side of their settlement walls, apparently trying to pass through the wooden palisade to get to my men on the other side. I ended up taking the town by smashing their cavalry out the way and winning via taking the town centre because I didn't feel slaughtering a bunch of infantry as they milled around the palisade would make for a very good battle. They did react and try to retake it, but I'd walled off all the gateways by that point with my best troops.
That has been corrected in 2.6.
You play with the 4tpy-script, right? If all events are coming in the second turn, the script didn't activate correctly in the first turn - It sometimes does that. To be safe, end the script by pressing esc and clicking on the questionmark in the upper right of the menu.
Then click on a settlement to activate it again.
If you are using anything other that the default RS2.5 files, report your problem in the sub-mod thread please.

The "units running persistently in one direction and spreading out" thing happened again. Seems to be something to do with the way they react to the structure of barbarian towns. Pathfinding issue?
Hello, wouldnt be more realistic to put back the old vanilla barbarian cities, and to keep the 3 walls forteress only for biggest or historical cities ?
In the RS2.5 beta preview thread it's mentioned in the republican governorship traits overview that the triggering city for the "propraetor macedonia" trait would be Pella, while in the game it's actually Thessalonike. Small thing really.![]()
I noticed that about half the trees, in the only vanilla barbarian village I've encountered so far, have this weird neon green\purple\pink discoloration on black bark (the bark texture and tree shape suggested beech).
The village was the capitol of the British region corresponding to Wales, and it was winter.
I doubt that this is supposed to represent some ancient Welsh tradition of garishly painting trees.
That Jews suffered greatly from 1933-1945 is not in question but the notion of a premeditated, planned, and industrial extermination of Europe's Jews with its iconic gas-chambers and magical six million are all used to make the Holocaust not only special but also sacred. We are faced with a new, secular religion, a false God with astonishing power to command worship. And, like the Crucifixion with its Cross, Resurrection etc, the Holocaust has key and sacred elements—the exterminationist imperative, the gas-chambers and the sacred six million. It is these that comprise the holy Holocaust which Zionists, and others worship and which Ernst and the revisionists refuse.
Nor is this a small matter. If it was, why the fuss, why the witch-hunt, why the imprisonment of David Irving, Germar Rudolf and Ernst Zündel? And it's not just them. What may be a massive lie is being used to oppress pretty much all of humankind. The German and Austrian peoples who, we are told, conceived and perpetrated the slaughter; the Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, peoples etc., etc who supposedly hosted, assisted in and cheered on the slaughter; the Swiss who earned out of the slaughter and the entire Christian world who, it seems, created the faith—traditions and ideologies in which the slaughter could take place—in fact, the Holocaust oppresses the entire non-Jewish world and indeed much of the Jewish world as well. Stand and have done with it. Deny the Holocaust.
Im having alot of trouble here... (Rome 1 turn campaign)
I have all control of greece and their cities in north africa.
I have men on the bridge that separated greece from byzantion, and somehow every turn 4 full stacks of greek troops appears infront of them.At first i thought it was just a army of mercs they recruited from thrace or asia minor but its not. its bithynian pikes, hoplites and a bunch of heavy cavalry and catapults. Ive held em back so far with my macedonian legion but they wont stop coming so i said wtf and put a spy beside the city of bithynia wich is their new capital and i noticed them one time had 3 unit cards in their city cand just like that their little flag went to a full stack and they marched towards they took a boat to get around the macedonian legion.
I know some of you think "well they just sent troops to that city." No i ended the turn watching that city and nothing moved to it it just went to a full stack. The most recent turn i got the greeks map info which cost me alot of money. and they have conqured all of asia minor, half the seleucid empire, armenia, pontos, and are working on the ptolemies which have them stopped at Jerusalem.
What is up with the greeks becuase i must have killed their entire family tree on my conquest of Greece but they must have a huuuge family, also i thought that if you took their capital (Athens) they would go bankrupt. They are the richest and most power nation atm. and they could easily wipe me out if they wanted too and ive only left them alone for 4 turns scince our little war began so i thought i gave em no time to rebuild but it seems theyve been doing just fine all along and i wasnt even their main enemy...........
