Thread: 47th's Preußischen Einheiten Mod

  1. #1

    Default 47th's Preußischen Einheiten Mod

    Era: 1808-15
Description: I'm just basically sharing my work, I did this for me because I'm so picky about what my uniforms look like in Battle, and I like the uniforms that Prussia had in the later Napoleonic era I guess. Anyway, this mod is just a retexture of Prussia's Musketeer unit. Should Replace the Vanilla Prussian Musketeer unit with my retexture
    Latest Build: v1.3.0
Research & Help: Links and uniform/regiment references provided by (Prince of Essling) & (Didz)
(Iutland) for sharing his LME loc file to release with my AUM
(PDGuru) for his help and inspiration
(Mattebubben) for also inspiring and helping me when I needed help
(Steph) & (L'aigle) for allowing me the opportunity to retexture a unit part from thier "Masters of Europe" Mod.

My plan is to just follow through my regiment list and make a whole new Prussian AUM for myself to share with whom ever. I will Try my hardest to make everything as historically accurate as I can.

Many Preußischen Garde Regiments made, they respectively have thier "campaign" attire addressed or so I've done my best to interpret them in my own creative way. They did not have many visual references of most uniform attire only to have them explained in words, for instance I took the "*Normal Infanterie Bataillon" and made them wear greatcoats with white litzen instead of just a normal prussian infantry coat with white litzen (which is described in David Nash's The Prussian Army1808-1815,supplied by Prince of Essling), then they'd look like the 1st Garde Zu Fuß so I had to improvise a lil' bit.

    Preußischen_Infanterie_MOE_MESH_Pack_1 (available)
This Pack contains unit (or mesh) parts from Steph & L'aigles MOE mod .Visit this site to download "MOE_UnitParts" or else my mod will probably cause a CTD (crash to desktop).
MOE link:***scroll down to download older version of MOE to use my addon***

Just put the unit parts pack into your NTW data folder and it will work, along with my aum mod.
Also if you want, you can add the LME "names & text" pack from Iutlands LME mod into your NTW data folder as well, that just has the unit's name onscreen. I did not make unit descriptions,I was planning to but that is time I cannot spare. Unit stats might need to be looked at, I tweaked it a little, just the gaurd infantry, nothing too crazy I still get my bum kicked with gaurd infantry on the field so I think it is okay. Vanilla units stats are stll the same. If you have a mod with another unit_stats_lands under the DB tables,my new units will most likely not appear and just stay vanilla. Download these and collect them. Enjoy =)

^^^ This adds a few cavalry retextures, the new prussian reserves I made, 6 & 12 .lbr horse artillery, and 1 prussian landwehr with more variety. This was done years ago but not uploaded and will probably most likely not be updated with any new units. You have my permission in advance to use any of my textures or any of the units in the pack for any reason whatsoever. Most units are "replacements" and aren't probably compatible with mods that also replacement vanilla units. The Reserves are new units and aren't replacements, everything else you'll have to figure out for yourself.

Hey Matte how you doin' buddy....I just googled "oilskin covers" and it showed alot of miniature figures of Prussian Infantry and some had that pattern of oilskin covers so I copied it, the texture is just a crumpled piece of paper that I downloaded. I just desaturated it ,layered it ,and cut it to the right points on the shako dds. I have three different patterns actually, one I like that I released, one different one for my Prussian Garde regiments and a more historical just like the Vanilla textures.

Took a pic of my Reserves *New shako. Don't mind the ugly faces as this is just a test run of my new texture Think I'll make the plate a little bigger, and the "cockade" (it's called? ....I believe? lol) a little smaller.........
