    Default Countdown and Subforum

So it's only 1 week to the release of FotS.. maybe some stores will have the game even earlyer in the stores.. in some countries you can get a game 3-4 games before the originial release date.

Also, when will there be a subforum? It's very confusing now that there are FoTS topics and Shogun 2 Vanilla topics running through eachother, and Napoleon also got a seperate subforum from Empire, so I think FoTS should get one too?

I asked this a long time ago...

Never really got an answer. The Mods are gonna have a more difficult time moving all these FotS topics not that there are so many of them.

We have a zero say in such stuff. Site administration will decide whether this last expansion deserves its own forum or not & if it does then whether they have the resources for it or not, which requires a go from the Chief Technician of our website.

And one can't really compare it with NTW as FotS is classified as an expansion pack by CA itself so you can say it's more like MII-kingdoms, yes i'm aware that FotS is a standalone. So GD forums will be the same, perhaps a new forum might be created for mods which i highly doubt seeing the number of current hosted mods for TWS2 vanilla, not at least anytime soon.

I think we should better have a subforum inside the STW2 forum rather than a subforum for itself.

If I remember correctly Napoleon Total War is also a stand-alone expansion pack. I really see no difference. CA really emphasized that Fall of the Samurai will be a new and complete game, with more than tiny ajustments from Shogun 2. I see no reason why to treat this game differently by not giving its own subforum, because it gives a lot more structure and it is clear which threads are about Shogun 2 and which are about FotS. Currently it is a mess in the Shogun 2 forum.. everything running through eachother.

Alright, now that FotS is out, we NEED a subforum. If you'll take a look in the Shogun 2 section, you will see that is is completely jumbled up.

A general discussion sub-forum for FOTS is certainly warranted, but I don't think anything else is necessary. It's more characteristic of DLC than it is of an expansion, despite being dubbed as the latter.

I agree, nothing big. But as is I can't tell what is for shogun and what is for FotS.

Even the strategy subsection is getting confusing.

    I agree to this post.

Getting information on a specific shogun version on the forum become more and more troublesome.
