70,000,000 native speakers and I hadn't even heard of this language I'd love to but no time atm alas
It's the native language of the Marathas (a small trivia for our ETW friends/fans).
No "no" option?

Simple, why vote when not interested?
You can't exactly gauge people's opinion on something if the only options are 'Yes' or 'Yes, but later'. If there's no 'No' option then the poll is inherently biased. I assume you want this poll to run for a bit and then ask Hex for the Professorship and a sub-forum here. It doesn't exactly do your cause credit if you won't allow dissenting opinion. The point of this poll is to see whether people are interested. The poll's question is "Are you interested?". If you don't want to see any people saying 'No' then you shouldn't have put the poll up in the first place. How do you expect to have a fair poll with only one option?
What if moderation staff posted a poll in the Q&S with the question of 'Plebiscite: Delete the Thema Devia' with the options 'Yes' and 'Maybe'? Do you see where I'm coming from?
I did not mean it that way.
But now I cannot edit the poll. You may do so freely.
Edited poll
uhhh....make it Spanish and I'm in. Alas unfortunately the language offered would get very little field-time here in Texas.
A Lion serves in Winter, then perhaps a Unicorn for the Spring.

ah if only it was German or something
I'd have said yes if it was Hindi. It's more useful learning Hindi anyway, since once you learn that it is pretty easy to learn Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali, but with the added benefit of it being much more common than any of those (in India at least).
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
I would be interested in that too.
Quite the opposite, actually.
Marathi is derived from Sanskrit, not Hindi. Also, if you learn Marathi, you'd find Hindi easier to understand and to learn.
Also, I see that Hader has made the poll hidden so I cannot see the interested parties.
Would say yes if it was Persian. I at least know that one is easy to learn.
Would say yes to a European language
