CTD when launching multiplayer

So yesterday I Went through all the steps to play some darthmod multiplayer with my friend. I selected MP default, kept of at 1x units, chose the Europe campaign and pushed play. But when I select total war online it says Napoleon has stopped working.

So I restarted and updated Steam, but the problem persists. My vanilla multiplayer has also stopped working. Ayudame, por favor.

I have received completely opposite reports about mp. Other players say it is working others that it is not working at all. Sorry I cannot help further.

About the problem of vanilla mp, start DMN, select Restore Vanilla from launcher's menu and try again.

I have, and it still crashes. Have I have darthmod and Europe on conflict both installed; they don't seem to clash but could that be a problem affecting MP? I know Europe doesn't support it.
