Gosh you people are depressing.
It seems to me people love to run round the forums screeching 'editing the maps impossible' or 'warscape is hard to mod'. Chances are they have never even tried. If you look round the forums you will see serious progress being made on the map front, sure its impossible right now but that doesn't mean you need ca's tools to edit it or that you need information or that its flat out impossible.
Even if the map is modifiable though it will almost certainly be far more complex than medII/rome to change and I doubt Darth would personally have time to do it. Nothing against Darth, I just have not seen him edit images etc which map making would certainly involve.

I can predict that a game with a bigger map than ETW will come out before the maps for NTW and ETW are modded.
All you have to do is to decide what to do with the time given to you.

Would it not be more practical to mod ETW with NTW units/factions, granted with out the nice diplo options of NTW etc
