What faction do you most want added in the 1220 late era campaign?

SERBIA! Next two picks are Georgia or a Muslim faction, don't care which. The Balkans are decidedly devoid of factions, it's always just fought over by the Hungarians, Byzantines, and the Venetians.

For a Late start, Bulgaria are more deserving than Serbia (whereas in Early I'd pick Serbia instead), since Late coincides with the height of the Second Bulgarian Empire. Besides, everyone always says Serbia, never Bulgaria - I have to be different!

And for the heck of it, even though it's a post from May...

Sicily/Southern Italy did not become independant again for any length of time, being ruled mostly by aragon/spain and france after the HRE was driven out, so not only do they not exist in 1220, they never existed later either.

The Pope made Frederick sign a treaty preventing him from uniting Sicily with the Holy Roman Empire, hence there being a King of Sicily as well as a King of the Germans. Being Holy Roman Emperor did not give one absolute power, as can be seen through the downfall of Emperor Otto IV Welf after Bouvines - one battle lost and his fate sealed. I'm more inclined to view Sicily and Southern Italy as Frederick's hereditary possessions, whereas the various nobles of the different German states gave him power as Emperor only through their support - they gave him the boot later on, electing an anti-Emperor.

Also, Sicily was independent under the Crown of Aragon for a time, ruled by a branch of the family tree (Naples was not part of this kingdom).

I would like more Orthodox factions in the game so for me Georgia.
Serbia would be nice too.

In reality, I think 1270 and 1390 are good mid and high campaigns. However that doesn't mean we have to eliminate the 1220 campaign. As long as it was compatible with the next version it could be in the next release. Obviously it might not have all the events and features that the new campaigns would have but it doesn't have to be discarded.

Any faction in the East which will check Fatimid advances....and at the same time won't kill of the Turks in a few turns.

I chose Burgundy, any ME faction or even Georgia will probably be destroyed by the Mongols very early..

You have good point, I think should add more Pagan, Orthodox or Muslim faction, too many Catholic already
