Default How to change faction's starting position?

Well, as the title says. How can I

    a) Change a faction's starting settlements

    b) Change a faction's building descriptions, emblem etc (for example, changing the Baktria symbol to that of the Aedui)

    Thanks

    A) I've not ever modded (nor do I care to - I'll let the people who know what they're doing change it), but I would assume you move the region/settlement details in the descr_strat file from whichever faction owns it normally and then to the one you want to own it. Don't change the "faction_creator" designation, though. For a more in-depth explanation, this thread seems to give specifics.

    B) Building Description is easy, I think - should be the "export_buildings" file in the text folder. As for emblems ...

Finally. Go to the descr_sm_factions file, and you can change the colour, symbol, and a few other things. That took too long to look for ....
I beat back their first attack with ease. Properly employed, E's can be very deadly, deadlier even than P's and Z's, though they're not as lethal as Paula Abdul or Right Said Fred.

Thanks very much! I'll see if I can get my head around the scripting.
